Courgettes and tomatoes – what a time of year

Tomatoes are plentiful now, courgettes after a slow start are coming along nicely. It has been a very dry summer, the courgettes were not producing, watered and fed in the last two weeks and am being rewarded now -note to self – feed and water the courgettes in dry years!

Poor crop of damsons this year, tree was attacked by aphids in spring – need to spray this winter to prevent occurrence

Plums are plentyful, trees have gone biannual so have a glut this year.

Apples are nearly ready, some wind blown drops are edible, wont be long now!

The garden needs rain, grass is barely growing and a bit brown, saw a neighbour watering their grass yesterday.
